About
Hi, I'm the coach behind LPT.
Twelve years in coaching, several thousand sessions delivered, and a slightly unhealthy obsession with programme design. This is the short version of how I got here and why I work the way I do.

My story
I started lifting in my parents' garage with a £40 weight set and a borrowed copy of Starting Strength. What began as a way to get stronger turned into a career - first as a strength coach with a handful of athletes, then as a full-time PT working with women from every walk of life: post-natal mums, menopausal lifters, runners, rehab clients, complete beginners, and everyone in between.
Over the years I noticed the same thing again and again: most women have been sold the wrong story for years. Tone this. Burn that. Shrink everywhere. They didn't need flashier programmes - they needed permission to actually train, and a coach who took them seriously. That's what LPT is built around.
How I coach
I write every programme by hand. No generic templates, no off-the-shelf plans dropped into an app. Your training is built around your goals, your history, your schedule and the equipment you actually have access to.
And I review everything. Not just numbers in a spreadsheet - videos, recovery markers, sleep, cycle, life context. Coaching is a conversation, not a transaction.
